I wonder if Chris watched the show and thought to himself...you know Roberto really is a sexy man.  Seriously though, I think that anyone who watched this season of The Bachelorette must have known that Ali was going to choose Roberto.  That's not to say that on some level we weren't rooting for Chris.  He's an amazing guy, but you could just tell that Ali was head over heels for Roberto.  Now if she wanted a sure bet, she should have chosen Chris.  If there was ever a guy who would love her for the rest of his life, it's Chris.  He is a genuine, kind, and thoughtful person.  If I had any advice for Chris, it would only be that he may have come on the show too soon after his mother's death.  As someone who has lost a parent, I believe that it takes time to heal from that experience, before your heart is really ready to open up again.  I am grateful to Ali, as I'm sure Chris is that she did not make him go through another rose ceremony.  I think that it was very honorable of her to go to Chris and talk to him one on one and let him know that she was in love with Roberto.  There has never been a season of The Bachelor or Bachelorette where this has been done.  I'm glad that Ali cared enough about Chris to spare him any additional pain.   As she walked away, Chris looked up into the sky to see a rainbow appear above.  He believed it to be a sign from him mom, who always told him to look for her in rainbows.  He believed that it was her way of saying, "Good job Chris...I'm glad that you put yourself out there and gave love a chance."

As for Roberto, I'm pretty sure that he knew he had this thing wrapped up for weeks now.  The only thing he wasn't completely sure of was whether or not he was actually going to propose or at least that's what the show wanted us to believe.  However, on the After the Rose Special, Roberto admitted that he knew he could see himself building a life with her from about the 3rd rose ceremony.  I will say that they look pretty happy.  I probably would have had the same hesitation as Ali did, thinking that he was "too good to be true" and worrying that he may be just another playboy, but he seems to have broken the bad boy mold.  We'll see if this engagement lasts longer than Jake and Vienna.  As long as they stay away from Dancing with the Stars, I think they will be okay.
