It's the final episode before the hometown dates and as Des put it, "If you ain't first...you last"! The Fab Five had to really turn on the charm this week to convince Des that they were falling in love with her and that she should choose them to advance to the Final Four.
Des had a little bit of help this week...some of the ladies from Sean's season of The Bachelor, including Catherine, joined Des in Madeira to help scope out the men. She certainly has a solid crop to choose from. Chris is tall, athletic, and writes poetry. Michael is an attorney, has good hair, and a great sense of style...if you were a fan of Miami Vice. Zak looks good with his shirt off, is a man of faith, and likes to express himself through art. Drew is cute, has a great smile, and is cute...did I say cute? And then there is Brooks...who she loves. As Chris Harrison put it, "Is this over"? I think the answer should have been yes! I don't see why she would want to drag out this process. If she knows that she is already at the finish line with Brooks, then she should just tell him. I realize that he's practically the only one who hasn't told her that he loves her, but let's be real. He was practically in tears at the rose cerimony. You know that boy loves her. She needs to just say, "Let's do this!" and move forward with her life. Things are only going to get more complicated on the hometown dates. Why allow more time to go by and doubt to fill his mind? They should just be together. Besides...I'd like to have Chris all to myself.
Oh well...they never listen to me. Tune in next week to see who will be moving on...Brooks, Chris, Drew, or Zak? I'm guessing it will be dramatic as usual.
