The Women Tell All is always tough to watch. It's the ultimate in your face, "He just wasn't that in to any of you" moment where the women have to relive the pain and humiliation of the entire season. No one more so than Tierra, who came out sporting a HUGE diamond ring. After trying to defend herself and being told off by all of the women, Chris Harrison pointed out the bling on her left hand and she announced that she was indeed engaged. What man could possibly have watched this season and thought to himself, "Yes! That's the woman I want to spend the rest of my life with!"? It shocks me even more that apparently they dated before this show and he wanted her back! God help him!
The person that surprised me the most was AshLee. Maybe I'm the only one, but I really felt like I saw a different side of her. She clearly thought she had something more significant with Sean than the other girls there and she had an air of arrogance about her. Her comment about Sean saying that he "didn't have any feelings for the other two girls", seemed unnecessary to bring up at that point. I'm quite sure that he said something to her on the overnight date that made her feel like she was the one, but at that point it was obvious that she wasn't. So why just throw that out there to stir up trouble if you're really over it? The answer is that she's not over it. I still think she must be in the running for The Bachelorette gig. The new hairdo is a sure sign. When Ashley was chosen to be the Bachelorette after Brad's 2nd Season, she showed up with long brunette locks. Now AshLee shows up with long blonde locks....looks to me like someone got a stylist. However, after her performance tonight, I sort of hope they choose Des instead. They just may have to exclude her brother from participating, otherwise he'll scare off all of her would-be suitors.
The only thing I learned tonight was that the way to Sean's heart is laughter. It seems finding someone to be silly with is more important to Sean than anything else and AshLee didn't bring the chuckles the way Catherine and Lindsay did. I'm not sure whether that's the best characteristic to base the rest of your life on, but hell if that's what Sean wants, who am I to make fun? At least if the relationship fails, they can laugh about it.
Tune in next week to see the finale...it's sure to be hilarious!
