SafePlace receives the gift of a better night's sleep

Residents of domestic violence shelter, SafePlace, were treated to 240 new Tempur-Pedic mattress sets, courtesty of community partner, Sleep Experts, on Thursday, June 28.

The donated Tempur-Pedic mattress sets replaced all of the beds in SafePlace's emergency shelter and supportive housing apartments. According to Executive Director Julia Spann, "Women coming to the SafePlace shelter tell us that they – and their children – sleep well and sleep deeply for the first time in a very long time."

SafePlace provides a host of services dedicated to ending sexual and domestic violence in the Austin area. Sleep Experts is now has five locations in Austin.
