You can indulge your sweet tooth and feel good about helping the community.
The All Chocolate Affair features sweet and savory creations from the Travis Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts: steak skewers with ancho mole sauce, white chocolate and salmon chevre mousse, caramel pecan brownies, CinnaMan chocolate cheesecakes, chocolate beverages and more. The event also features demonstrations by Hyatt Executive Chef Paul French.
The event benefits Broadcast Your Love, a non-profit using communication-related programming to encourage health and wellness. Broadcast Your Love, under the fiscal umbrella of the Austin Community Foundation, was started in honor of KVUE Daybreak/Midday Executive Producer Thea Williams-Douglas, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2010.
The All Chocolate Affair is Sunday, April 15th from 4-6 p.m. at the Carver Museum & Cultural Center located at 1165 Angelina Street. Tickets are $35 (or $25 each for groups of ten or more).
