An upper level low will swing out of Mexico, and move into South Texas on Saturday. This will increase rain chances across Central Texas on Saturday, especially for the late afternoon and evening hours.

Saturday morning will be cloudy, but mainly dry.

Showers will increase from the south by late Saturday afternoon.

High temperatures will be cool Saturday, due to increased cloud-cover and rain chances. Highs will range from the upper 40s in the Hill Country, to low 50s in Austin.

Widespread rain is expected by Saturday evening. A few thunderstorms will be possible, but we are not expecting any severe weather or flash flooding.

Most of the rain will shift east of the area by midnight.

Expect clouds in the morning for Sunday, then some sunshine and temperatures in the 60s by the afternoon.

Rainfall totals could add up to as much as an inch in Austin, and over an inch for areas east of Austin.
