Two people were transported to the hospital after a semi-truck collided with two vehicles on Highway 29 Wednesday morning.

Georgetown Police and the fire department said the crash happened just before 9:15 p.m. in the 2600 block of West Highway 29, where a person was reportedly pinned into there vehicle.

Fire crews were sent out and worked to extricate the victim.

Officials said two people were transported to Seton Williamson County for their injuries; one of the victims is in critical condition, while the other is expected to be okay.

Both eastbound lanes of Highway 29 were closed and the westbound lane was dropped down to one lane. As of 1 p.m., all lanes have reopened.
