Rodeo Austin kicks off Saturday, March 10, and if you're headed that way the route you're used to may be impacted by some road work.
There's a lot of construction this year on U.S. 183, and it's adding changes to the typical route.
Southbound 183 traffic is closed, and drivers can no longer make a left on Loyola Lane.
It is the same situation for northbound US-183: making a left on Loyola Lane is a no-go, and your right lane is a "right turn only."
So, this is what drivers will need to do to get to the rodeo:
- Take the FM-969 exit if traveling northbound on US-183.
- If you're traveling southbound, use the US-290 exit to Johnny Morris Road or Decker Lane.
