A new era has begun at Kansas State University.
Eight days after legendary coach Bill Snyder announced his retirement, the university has announced North Dakota State's Chris Klieman will take over.
Klieman has led his teams to a 67-6 record on the way to earning three Football Championship Subdivision titles.
Klieman agreed to a six-year contract starting at $2.3 million.
The head coach will stay with the NDSU Bison during the FCS playoffs. They are seeking their fourth title in the last five seasons.
