University of Texas running back D’Onta Foreman said Wednesday afternoon he will forego his senior season and enter the NFL draft.

Foreman made the announcement during a press conference at the university. Sports Illustrated’s Pete Thamel reported early Wednesday afternoon he would declare for the draft.

Foreman has rushed for 2,028 yards and 15 touchdowns on 323 carries in the 2016 season. SI reported he was one of three tailbacks with more than 300 carries this season, alongside Donnel Pumphrey of San Diego State and Bryan Hill of Wyoming.
