Brooke McCarty and Ariel Atkins will have at least one more unofficial senior day experience and possibly two this weekend.
McCarty and Atkins are senior guards for Karen Aston's Longhorns, both have been instrumental in the turnaround of the UT women's basketball program since they were both freshman.
Texas is the 2-seed in the Kansas City region. UT will host Maine on Saturday at 5:00 pm. If the 'Horns win, they'll face the winner of Nebraska/Arizona State on Monday.
