TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas – The driver of a semi was seriously injured when his vehicle left the SH 130 toll and down an embankment early Wednesday morning.
AFD, APD and Austin-Travis County EMS said the crash happened along the northbound lanes of SH 130, and EMS said they were called to the scene around 3:10 a.m. Wednesday. APD said the crash happened just south of Exit 437, which is the exit for U.S. 290.
The driver, identified by EMS as a man believed to be in his 40s, was taken to University Medical Center-Brackenridge in Austin with serious injuries.
Both lanes of SH 130 northbound have reopened as of 7:15 a.m. Wednesday, but motorists can expect delays until the backup clears.
