GEORGETOWN, Texas – A call for armored vests for Williamson County K-9 officers has been fulfilled, Sheriff Robert Chody said Wednesday morning.
The Williamson County sheriff tweeted Tuesday afternoon asking if there were any places that could provide seven vests for the department’s dogs.
Looking 4 grants or places that have armored vests for this guy and his 6 other K9 friends. Any ideas? They have no protection if needed. pic.twitter.com/47A2AKkGxP— Sheriff Robert Chody (@SheriffChody) September 12, 2017
In a Wednesday morning update, Chody said Vested Interest in K9s had offered to donate all seven vests needed.
