In Texas This Week, U.S. Ambassador Thomas Pickering was in Austin speaking about Iran's nuclear program.
Now retired, his more than four-decades-long career earned him the rank of Career Ambassador, the highest in the U.S. Foreign Service. Pickering has served as the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, the Russian Federation, India, El Salvador, Nigeria and Jordan, as well as being Ambassador to the United Nations.
Pickering now works with The Iran Project, which aims to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
We sat down to discuss the Iran nuclear deal and threat from North Korea.
