A teen in Taylor has been accused of threatening to blow up the Taylor Police Department, according to the Williamson County Deputy District Clerk.

Taylor police allegedly received five 911 calls beginning April 12 at around 7 p.m. from a man who was later identified at 17-year-old Damontae Fitzgerald who said he was going to blow up the police department.

When an officer called Fitzgerald back and asked why he was calling police and threatening to blow them up, he told the officer that he was "messing around." The officer then told him to step outside the house where he lived.

When police arrived at his home, Fitzgerald was outside and still on the cell phone allegedly used to make the threats. According to the affidavit for Fitzgerald, he admitted to making the calls because he "does not like the police."

According to the Taylor Police Department, he has been charged with "Terroristic Threat" and is being held on a bail of $25,000.
