The comedic “El Arroyo’s Big Book of Signs Volume One” can be under your tree by Christmas.
The Downtown Austin Tex-Mex Restaurant El Arroyo isn’t just known for its hand-squeezed margaritas and Black Angus beef tacos but more so for its famous marquee sign.
The marquee sign on the corner of Fifth and Campbell street changes every day, displaying a funny quote that often stops pedestrians in their tracks.
In 2016, co-owner Ellis Winstanley hoped the book would be published and ready for sale in time for the holidays -- it finally is this year.
The 8-by-8-inch hardback book is filled with 158 of their favorite signs that they hope to bring smiles to all who own it.
