Police have issued a warrant of arrest for a man accused of sexually assaulting another man at his apartment.
According to court documents, an officer was dispatched to a LifeWorks facility in East Austin in late February after the victim reported to a counselor that he had been sexually assaulted.
After a report was created, police said the victim was interviewed on March 20 where he said that he allowed the suspect, 24-year-old Coltrane R. Randle, to live with him for a few months.
The victim said that he arrived home one evening around 7:30 p.m. and discovered the suspect sitting on the sofa. The victim reported that the suspect said he was on his fourth glass of wine and was visibly intoxicated. The victim said he went to his bedroom around 8:30 p.m., showered and went to bed.
The alleged assault occurred, the victim said, later in the night when he awoke to an arm on his waist and the suspect began touching his genitals. After he told him to stop multiple times, Randle reportedly told him, “You know you want this,” and forced the victim to touch Randle’s genitals. The victim said that after a physical struggle that went on for 10 minutes and led the victim to sustain a neck injury, Randle eventually forced him to perform oral sex on him.
Randle has been charged with sexual assault, a second-degree felony. His bond is set at $10,000.
