South by Southwest just announced that Star Wars actor Mark Hamill will be attending the festival this March.
This is not a drill.
Hamill will be attending a screening of "The Director and the Jedi," a documentary based on the new Star Wars director and childhood fan Rian Johnson's first time behind the camera for the franchise.
According to the SXSW website, "The documentary gives you a view of what it really was like to make "The Last Jedi." As the team strives to do their best, what shines through is their passion and how memorable an experience it is for Rian as director."
Get ready to be the droids they were never looking for, and navigate the world premiere of "The Director and the Jedi," on March 12 at the Paramount Theater.
