A boil water notice has been issued for several subdivisions and neighborhoods in Pflugerville and Hutto after a water leak Monday morning.

Crossroads Utility Services said an 18-inch line on Manville Water Supply Corporation's distribution system broke on Monday. The following subdivisions are being notified to boil their water prior to consumption:

Forrest Creek
Shallow Creek

Park @ Brushy Creek
Pflugerville Acres I & II

Gattis Crossing
685 Commercial Park

Crossroads added that Silverleaf subdivision customers are not effected and are not under a boil water notice.

Customers will need to boil water before consumption, or use bottled water. Manville Water Supply Corporation has crews on scene working near Windmill Ranch Avenue to reroute the water and restore service.
