According to @AustinFireInfo, heavy smoke was reported near Macy's where a burning electrical panel was found.

Officials said the fire was caused by an accidental short in an electrical room.

AFD said mall maintenance and Austin Energy were working to restore power. Parts of the mall were without power, but most businesses would be open Saturday.

No injuries were reported, according to AFD.
