After photos online showing a giant Mars symbol on a stage apparently set up on a downtown Austin rooftop appears to point to one thing -- ACL Music Festival headliners The Killers are playing a show outside of the fest in Zilker Park.

Instagram user @msmagnanimous posted a photo of the rooftop stage Thursday, writing that it was set up on the rooftop of an office building at Sixth Street and Colorado, which Google Maps says is the address of brand development agency McGarrah Jessee.

@thekillers stage on the rooftop of an office building at 6th/Colorado downtown. I’m guessing it’s a private event. Maybe I’ll be able to listen from my office! 🤞🏽#atx #thekillers #austin

The rumors seem believeable because the Mars symbol, widely known as the symbol for the male sex, was seen onstage during The Killers ACL set on Sunday during the first weekend of the festival. The band behind hit singles such as "The Man," "Mr. Brightside," and "Somebody Told Me," are also slated to perform this Sunday during Weekend Two of the fest.

Redditors were quick to pick up on the chatter, many of which reported that it's a private event.

"I work in that building," wrote user fievelknowsbest. "It is private, and we can't get in either. We can hear from the roof deck, and from inside the office. They have been setting up the last few days."

Twitter also appeared to be stirring up a "Hot Fuss" from the rumors:

University of Texas journalism student Mariana Munoz, who said she works in a nearby office building, confirmed to KVUE that she saw the band performing a sound check on Thursday evening. She shared a snippet of that on Periscope.

After all-day speculation, The Killers confirmed another show with a tweet around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, saying "When in Texas, go BIG. @continentalATX 250cap. $20 a head, doors at midnight. 21+."
