AUSTIN – Crews have restored power to nearly 3,900 Austin Energy customers after a Monday morning outage.
The utility said the outage was weather-related, and Austin Fire Department said it had responded to the area of U.S. 183 and Burnet for a report of downed power lines.
The outage, which lasted from around 5 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. June 26, affected customers from the Domain to near Lamar and 183.
Traffic on southbound Burnet Road was diverted to the northbound 183 service road, which has a turnaround to get motorists back to southbound Burnet.
