Police are searching for the suspect in a bank robbery from Friday, March 3.

Roland Waits with the Georgetown Police Department said Compass Bank, located at 10 West Spring Street, was robbed at 4:25 p.m. The robber gave the bank teller a note, did not display any weapons, and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male with a beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a green/yellow traffic vest, blue/gray short-sleeved shirt over a white, long-sleeved shirt with black or dark blue pants, white tennis shoes with red laces and a black stocking cap.

Monday afternoon, police released pictures of the alleged suspect.

The Georgetown Police Department and the FBI are investigating the robbery.
