Two people are in custody Thursday morning after police said one of them opened fire in Downtown Austin.

Officers told KVUE three people were in a car when one passenger shot a gun in the air along 7th Street and Red River Street around 3 a.m. No one was hurt and police do not believe the shooter was aiming for anyone.

Street cameras captured the incident and police were able to track down the car.

The passenger was arrested for deadly conduct while the driver was arrested for outstanding warrants. The third person was released, police said.
