For many Hurricane Harvey victims this year, one Georgetown man is truly Santa's helper.

Nearly four months ago, Hurricane Harvey rumbled through Texas, destroying hundreds of homes and displacing thousands of families.

In September, Mike Sweeney made it his mission to collect as many toys as he could this holiday season.

Man collects toys for Harvey flood victims for Christmas

"When the hurricane hit, all the efforts were going into rebuilding and recovery, and I realized at the time that Christmas was coming, and a lot of kids from the families that had their homes destroyed or damaged were probably not going to have much for a Christmas," Sweeney previously told KVUE.

Well, he's definitely kept his promise. With generous donations from surrounding communities, Sweeney has collected hundreds of toys, he told KVUE.

Sweeney delivered the gifts to the Blue Santa program in Houston on Dec. 20.
