There's a new millionaire in the Austin-area after one lucky resident picked up a winning scratch-off lottery ticket.
According to the Texas Lottery, Dale C. McConnell gained his $1 million off of a scratch game ironically called "money." He bought the ticket at the northwest Austin Mesa Mart located in the 8143 block of Mesa Drive. For selling the ticket, the storefront is eligible for a $10,000 bonus.
Texas Lottery said McConnell claimed the second of seven top prizes. He had a one in 3.05 chance of winning any of the prizes in the game, including break-even prizes.
