There are eight million institutionalized orphans in the world, according to a press release by the Miracle Foundation, a Central Texas-based charity.
Most of them don't have access to nutritious foods, clean water, quality education or medical care. That's why the Miracle Foundation is launching their unique "Give a Miracle, Get a Miracle" holiday campaign.
The foundation was launched in 2000 and supports thousands of orphans in India, Sierra Leone, Uganda and Ethiopia.
Caroline Boudreaux, Founder of Miracle Foundation, said "In this season of giving, we invite you to make miracles for orphaned children. Together, we can give them the ultimate holiday miracle: a bright future. What’s more, this year your generosity can go even further! Generous donors will match all donations to our holiday campaign up to a total of $35,000, so your miracle can make an even bigger impact."
All you have to do is visit the online donation form, and make a tax-deductible donation. You can even make the donation in honor of a friend or family member.

Every donation goes a long way. $30 provides robust mental health care to two children for a full year. $60 would give career counseling and aptitude testing to six children. $100 would teach life skills education to three children, and $250 would provide life-saving healthcare for six children for a full year.
Every penny counts!
