Kyle police have arrested the alleged driver in the 2016 fatal shooting of 18-year-old Natanaell Bardales.

On April 2, 2016, Bardales was found with a gunshot wound in the head after what police believe was a drive-by shooting. He was rushed to University Medical Center Brackenridge where he was pronounced dead. A minor was identified as the shooter in the incident and was arrested the same day.

On Friday, Kyle police said they arrested Rickson Correa-Cherem, 18, of San Marcos. Correa-Cherem has been charged with murder, a first-degree felony and has been booked into the Hays County Jail.
