Officials are investigating a reported robbery at VIK Jewelers in Dripping Springs, Texas on Saturday.

The aggravated robbery was reported around 11:31 a.m. at the jeweler located at 598 East Highway 290, officials said. Two male suspects allegedly entered the store, brandished handguns and ordered two employees to raise their hands as one suspect unsuccessfully attempted to break the glass to a display case.

The Hays County Sheriff's Office said the second suspect then fired two rounds into the case to gain access, stole jewelry out of the case and then fled in a dark green or grey Nissan passenger car.

Officials described the suspects as two black males. One was described with light complexion, 5-foot-7-inches tall, 175 pounds, wearing light-colored jeans, a black sweatshirt, tan baseball hat and sunglasses. The other was described with darker complexion, 5-foot-9-inches tall, 150 pounds, with facial hair, wearing blue jeans, a black jacket with a white stripe on the sleeves, camouflage hat and a reflective vest.

The sheriff's office said no one was injured and asks anyone with more information to contact them at 512-393-7896, or Hays County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-324-TIPS.
