Hundreds of people are expected to rally at the Texas State Capitol Wednesday to remember men and women killed in construction in Texas.

It's a part of the "Day of the Fallen," which the Texas House of Representatives unanimously voted to adopt Wednesday in recognition of construction workers who died on the job. According to a study conducted in collaboration with the University of Texas and the Workers Defense Project, a construction worker dies in Texas every three days.

When the rally begins at 4 p.m. at the J.J. Pickle Federal Building on San Jacinto Boulevard, Workers Defense Project members will be joined by families from across the state to remember their loved ones. From the J.J. Pickle building, the marchers will head to the Texas State Capitol.
