WASHINGTON COUNTY, Fla. – Authorities say a Wimberley woman died in a crash in the Florida panhandle late Monday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol said Edith Sconza, 80, was traveling westbound along Interstate 10 around 11:45 a.m. June 12 when her Hyundai Elantra left the road, spun and struck a tree. Her vehicle came to a rest in the center median by a wood line, FHP said.
No other vehicles were listed in the crash report. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
