The first 100 adults in line for a new Chick-fil-A restaurant opening in Round Rock will receive free meals for a year.
The new restaurant, located at 305 University Blvd., will open on Thursday, May 4. The line will open on Wednesday, May 3. If there are more than 100 people on site when the line officially opens at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, there will be a drawing to randomly decide the "First 100," who will then be required to camp out overnight until the grand opening.
The contest is open to people in specific local zip codes, which are listed here. A valid ID will be required to participate.
Participants are encouraged to bring children's books to the event for a donation drive the restaurant is holding to benefit McLane Children's Hospital.
Chick-fil-A said that the new restaurant will bring 90 new jobs to the area. It will feature a two-story interactive indoor play area for children, free Wi-Fi, a dining room with room for 136 and outdoor patio with seats for 20.
