The drowning victim at Hamilton Pool over the weekend has been identified as 20-year-old Juan Antonio Ramirez-Lopez, according to officials Wednesday.

On Oct. 2 at about 4:45 p.m. a man went underwater and didn't resurface at Hamilton Pool, Austin-Travis County EMS said.

EMS said in a tweet around 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 3 that the team recovered the man's body. Ramirez-Lopez's body was found about 25 feet below the surface of the pool. Detectives in the case said "all evidence in this case points to accidental fresh water drowning," according to Roger Wade with the Travis County Sheriff's Office.
