Zilker Tree Lighting
Zilker will host their 51st Annual Zilker Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Nov. 26. The ceremony will include a few live performances, food and novelties. The tree will remain on display until Dec. 31 from 6 p.m. to midnight. For more information, click here.
Trail of Lights
The Trail of Lights will have their 2017 grand opening on Dec. 9. This event will have their popular lights on display as well as entertainment acts and professional performers. Capitol Tree Lighting
Join fellow Austinites in lighting the Capitol Tree in downtown Austin on Dec. 2. The event wil start at 6 p.m. at the Capitol steps and the light show will begin at 7 p.m. Congress Avenue will also provide several activities and vendors for everyone to enjoy. Old Town Christmas
Leander wil be spreading the Christmas spirit every Saturday of December this year starting on Dec. 2. There will be a wide range of events that includes a Rudolph 5K run, lights parade, an ice-skating rink, live performances and more. Help spread the cheer of the holiday season by packing your friends and family into a car to take in the beautiful light display Santa's Ranch has to offer. This event will be from Nov. 3 through Dec. 31 and will be located at 9561 Interstate Highway 35 North in New Braunfels. Lighting of the Square
Georgetown is getting ready to celebrate the best time of the year by lighting up their square on Nov. 24. This event will be at the historic Williamson County Courthouse at 710 S. Main Street. Be there to witness Santa and Mayor Dale Ross flip the switch on thousands of holiday lights. There will be plenty of entertainment including Austin Carolers, shops and goodies to eat. Rock'N Holiday Lights Tour & Christmas Towne
Bring your friends and family to Williamson County for light displays, carnival rides, holiday food and more. The Rock'N Lights Tour will begin Nov. 28 and Christmas Towne will start Dec. 3. These events will be located at the Old Settlers Association and the Dell Diamond parking lot at 3300 E. Light Spectacular and Parade
Visit the twinkliest town in Texas and enjoy their Lights Spectacular event. This event will begin Nov. 24 with the lighting of Johnson City's Courthouse followed by their Lighted Hooves and Wheels Parade Nov 25. Sights and Sounds of Christmas
Sights and Sounds, which is located in San Marcos, will has several attractions that will keep guests of all ages entertained. This event includes an ice-skating rink, carnival rides, live entertainment, food and Santa himself. Sights and Sounds will be from Nov. 29 through Dec. 2 and from Dec. 6 through 9. Buda Trail of Lights
Buda will host their 9th Annual Trail of Lights evetn at the Historic Stagecoach Park. This is a free holiday event that will be held Dec 8 through 9 and 14 through 17.
