KYLE, Texas -- A bat found in Kyle has tested positive for rabies, city officials say.

The City of Kyle says around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, a live bat was found on the front porch of a house in the 100 block of Primrose Road in Kyle.

The Department of State Health Services tested the bat, which tested positive for rabies.
