BASTROP COUNTY -- How many people does it take to free a puppy stuck in the rim of a car tire? A few members of an animal outreach group, Bastrop County Animal Services, and two firefighters.
According to a Facebook post shared by the Bastrop County Animal Control And Shelter, a desperate dog owner reached out to The Wags for Hope and Healing, a local animal outreach and rescue group, to help her puppy whose head was hopelessly stuck in the rim of a car tire. The rescue group contacted the Bastrop County Animal Services who were unsuccessful in freeing the puppy.
That's when the Bastrop Fire Department was called in, and were able to return the puppy to the owner.
All of the puppies are to be spayed and neutered and will be available for adoption from the Wags for Hope and Healing rescue, and the Bastrop County Animal Services starting next week.
