The Austin Animal Center has an influx of cats and kittens after a warm winter in Central Texas, and now they're looking for cat-lovers to adopt some of their animals on no-fee weekend.

The Center said they are currently housing 600 cats and kittens, with more than 300 available for adoption. The other half are either in foster homes or are receiving some form of medical care.

All cats and kittens available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Fees will be waived from June 16 through the 19th.

If adoption isn't an option for you right now, the shelter said they're looking for foster parents too. You can find more information on fostering pets here.
