Police have detained a 15-year-old suspect as part of an ongoing homicide investigation in New Braunfels.
The suspect was detained without incident on Sunday at the New Braunfels Police Department Headquarters and transported to the Guadalupe County Juvenile Detention Center, police say. He has been charged with murder in connection to the shooting death of 17-year-old Conrad Kuntz.
Because of the suspect's age, his identity will not be released. The investigation into this case is ongoing and additional charges or arrests may still be pending.
On Saturday, Police said a caller reported shots fired and a possible disturbance in the 1500 block of Lahn Road at 10:14 p.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they found the victim, identified as Kuntz, suffering from a gunshot wound. EMS attempted to revive Kuntz, but he died from his injuries.
