To wrap up our recovery week, Montana Judd will teach us how to relax and use a ball to get rid of the knots in our back. All you will need for this exercise is a small ball and a partner.

Relaxation and Focusing on Knots

To get the best results in foam rolling or any trigger point therapy, it is very important to relax and breathe. Start off by getting your workout partner to place a small ball on your back as you lay down on the ground. Make sure your shoulders, arms and legs are nice and relaxed. Next, let your partner push your body around slowly to allow the ball to roll over the knots in your back. Remember, being able to relax and apply all of your body weight to the area needed is what is going to be able to release the tension faster.
