In this week's Exercise Minute, we will be working with the owner of Strive To Be Fit LLC, Justin Wecker. In this workout, he will teach us a few core exercises. All you will need for this is yourself.
Bird Dog Plank (left leg, right arm)
The first exercise will be a bird dog plank using your left leg and right arm. Start off in the plank position with your legs and arms fully extended. Make sure you keep your glutes tight and your back flat. Then, you will lift your left leg up and your right arm up at the same time. Do this exercise for 30 seconds and the rest for 30 seconds.
Bird Dog Plank (right leg, left arm)
The second exercise will also be a bird dog plank but this time you will use your right leg and left arm. Make sure your core and glutes are nice and tight, and then lift up your right leg and left arm at the same time. Do this exercise for 30 seconds before taking a 30-second break.
Alternating To Touch Plank
The last exercise in this circuit will be an alternating to touch plank. You will stay in the plank position with your core tight and your back flat. Then, you will take one foot at a time and move it outward and do toe-tapping motions. Next, you will do the same thing for the other foot and bring it back in place. Repeat these steps in this exercise for 30 seconds and then rest for 30 seconds. You can repeat this entire circuit as many times as you would like.
Have a great workout!
