AUSTIN -- The wait is almost over! The Austin City Limits Music Festival is gearing up to announce its 2018 lineup and release tickets.
ACL announced Tuesday that the official artist lineup will be posted on May 1 at 10 a.m. Also on May 1, 3-Day General Admission, VIP and Platinum tickets will go on sale at the same time.
For those looking to make it to the fest free of charge, ACL will be giving away 100 3-Day GA tickets and daily transportation aboard the "S.S. ACL Fest." This party boat will run all weekend long with rides from the Hyatt Boat Dock to Lou Neff Point at Zilker Park.

Additionally, if you'd like to secure your place in the park before everyone else, ACL is offering a ticket presale to American Express cardholders. Those with American Express cards can purchase VIP and Platinum tickets in an exclusive presale from April 25 at 10 a.m. to April 30 at 10 p.m.
Here are a few other options ACL is offering this year:
- Layaway Plans: Available during the checkout process, you can split your purchase into separate installments.
- Fest with Friends and Earn Rewards: Buy your tickets together. The bigger your group, the more festival perks you can all earn.
- Ambassador Program: Sell enough tickets, earn one for yourself. Sell additional tickets and you could gain VIP upgrades and more.
