Police have arrested a 17-year-old in connection to the threat written on a bathroom wall at Rouse High School earlier this month.
Leander PD said officers arrested Tyler Philip Contatore on Oct. 17 on felony charges of exhibition of a firearm on campus or school bus and graffiti worship burial/monument/school. Officials at Rouse notified Leander police Oct. 4 after a threat was found on a bathroom wall stating that violence would occur Oct. 12. No violent incident occurred, but police continued to investigate the threat.
Contatore has been booked into the Williamson County Jail. Jail records do not list a bond amount as of 1 p.m. Tuesday.
