Two people have been arrested and charged in connection to a string of vehicle burglaries in Round Rock, police said Wednesday.
Round Rock police said officers arrested Milton Campos, 19, of Manor and Victor Flores, 23, of Austin on Oct. 3 in connection to the burglaries. RRPD said detectives reviewed surveillance video provided by victims to identify Campos as a suspect and identified Flores as an accomplice.
Police said Campos and Flores targeted vehicles in the Kensington Place, Windy Park, Greenslopes at Lake Creek, Forest Bluffs and Preserve at Dyer Creek neighborhoods. The burglaries occurred during the night time hours and the suspects targeted unlocked vehicles, police said.
Campos has been charged with 12 counts of burglary of a vehicle. RRPD said he is in the Williamson County Jail and is being held on a combined $180,000 bond.
Flores has been charged with nine counts of burglary of a vehicle, and Travis County Jail records state he has been in custody since July. Bond for the charges he is facing from Round Rock is set at a combined $90,000. Total bond for Flores is set at $232,500. A booking photo for Flores was not available as of 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
