A 42-year-old man allegedly raped a woman after contacting her through Backpage and refusing to pay her upfront for her services, police said.

According to an arrest affidavit for William Fred Black Jr., the alleged victim advertises personal services on Backpage, which includes a photo of herself and her phone number. On Dec. 1, police said Black called her to inquire about her advertisement. Police said Black allegedly agreed to pay her $350 for three hours of her services.

At around 12 a.m. Dec. 2 the victim drove to The Hideout Pub located off of MoPac Expressway. Black then allegedly texted her and told her to meet him in the 12500 block of Waters Park Drive under the Parmer bridge. The victim told police she then got into the rear seat of the vehicle where she undressed. Police said Black put a condom on outside the vehicle.

When Black approached her, she allegedly told him that she wanted the money first. That's when Black allegedly pulled a small folding knife out of his pocket and the two struggled over it. She said Black elbowed her on her left leg, causing her left femur bone to break. She told police at this point, she was no longer able to physically resist him.

Black held a knife to her throat, told her to remove his condom and to "give him what he wanted," according to the affidavit.

Police said he then raped her. Afterward, Black eventually exited the vehicle before the victim shut the door and locked it. Black then allegedly ran away.

The victim then told police she drove to her sister's house, where she then took her to a hospital.

Based off of the phone number that Black allegedly used to contact the victim, police were able to identify him through Facebook. He is currently in the Travis County Jail with a bail totaling $52,000.
