A man walked into a bank in East Austin and demanded money while armed with a weapon, Austin police confirmed Wednesday.
Police said the robbery happened at the International Bank of Commerce in the 2800 block of East Cesar Chavez Street at 4:43 p.m. The suspect demanded an undisclosed amount of money before leaving the scene, police said.
No one was injured.
The suspect is described as a man in his late 20s to early 30s, 5-foot-2, 160 to 170 pounds with possible facial hair. He was last seen wearing a dark ski mask, gloves, a short sleeve white t-shirt and blue jeans,
