Police are asking the public’s assistance in identifying the man wanted in connection to an aggravated robbery at a South Austin Wal-Mart on Oct. 2.

Austin police said the man approached the victim in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart in Southpark Meadows around 2 p.m. Oct. 2, displayed a firearm and demanded money from the victim. The robber then got into a silver minivan and fled the area. Police believe the man is also involved in a similar incident that happened approximately 30 minutes earlier at a different business.

Police describe the robber as white or Hispanic, 20-25 years old, approximately 5-feet 9-inches tall with a thin to medium build, dark hair and a chinstrap-style beard. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, eyeglasses, dark colored jacked, white shirt, red pants and gray tennis shoes with white soles.
