South by Southwest announced Tuesday it will move its headquarters to a new office tower expected to break ground in 2017.

The building, which will be located at 14th and Lavaca, will be owned by Austin’s CZ Properties. SXSW said its offices will occupy the top three floors of the proposed 12-story building, and that other Austin creatives will be in the building.

“SXSW has been on multiple campuses for some time, so for us this space will be about consolidation and communication – allowing us to bring all of our departments under one roof again,” said Ronald Swenson, CEO of SXSW. “Ultimately, we imagine a building that houses other creative companies and fosters collaboration between artists, media-centric companies and innovators.”

SXSW added the building is expected to open in late 2019.
