Is Austin the new holy land? The animated "God" on "The Late Show with Steven Colbert" seems to think so.

Colbert consulted with the animated “God” about President Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and he gave a surprising answer about the Middle Eastern city Wednesday night.

Colbert asked "God” if he would return back to Jerusalem?

“God” responded, “No way -- I’m not even sure it’s my holy city anymore.”

He continued, “Thinking of moving somewhere more laid-back, like Austin." He said, "It’s my favorite city in the whole United Shursh.”

The "United Shursh" comment poked fun at Trump’s speech slur on Wednesday when he said, “God bless the United States.” The hashtag #DentureDonald went viral on Twitter.
