Town hall meeting set to discuss Wells Branch crime initiative

The Travis County Sheriff's Office will hold a town hall meeting Nov. 28 to discuss the Wells Branch and Pflugerville Crime Initiative.

Since the initiative began, nearly four dozen arrests have been made in the Wells Branch area relating to prostitution, drugs, car burglaries and credit card skimmers.

The town hall will discuss the initiative results, crime statistics, crime prevention and community relations. Distinguished speakers include Sheriff Sally Hernandez, Chief Deputy Anthony Johnson, Commissioner Jeff Travillion, Commissioner Brigid Shea and Pflugerville Police Chief Jessica Robledo.

The town hall will be 7-8:30 p.m. at the Wells Branch MUD Community Center.
