17-year-old charged after allegedly sexually assaulting three underage girls
A 17-year-old man is accused of sexually assaulting three underage girls, one of which he allegedly pursued through Snapchat.
Keaton Blaze Calhoun, 17, is accused of two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony, and sexual assault of a child, a second-degree felony.
In the first incident, a 13-year-old girl from South Austin claims she was raped by Calhoun, who pursued her over the social media app Snapchat in May.
According to the Travis County arrest affidavit, Calhoun messaged the 13-year-old and allegedly told her that he knew mutual friends of hers. She informed him that she was only 13-years-old but Calhoun persisted to communicate with her, asking her to "hang out" at least five times, the affidavit said.
On May 7 around 11:45 p.m., the victim agreed to meet up with Calhoun, and he inquired about needing a condom. According to the affidavit, the victim told Calhoun he wouldn't need one because she did not want to have sex. Calhoun then allegedly picked the victim up from her home in South Austin and drove her to his home in North Austin, police said.
According to the victim, the front door was locked and he took her through his bedroom window. Once inside, Calhoun allegedly forced the victim to engage in sexual acts.
Afterward, Calhoun blocked the victim on Snapchat and had no further contact with her.
During the investigation of the first alleged assault, two more victims surfaced.
In the second incident, a 13-year-old girl said Calhoun drove her and three other friends to his house in North Austin on Jan. 22, 2017. That's where the alleged assault happened.
In the third incident, the girl was 14-years-old and knew Calhoun through a mutual friend, according to the second affidavit. One month before summer vacation, the victim snuck out of her home and Calhoun picked her up.
He drove her to an H-E-B where he allegedly forced her to perform a sexual act on him. After that, Calhoun drove the victim back to her residence.
Calhoun is in the Travis County Jail with a bond set at $100,000.
